Business innovation and investment (provisional) visa Subclass 188

You and your family members can join you with this visa and you can operate a new or existing business within Australia . You can subsequently apply for a permanent Business innovation and investment (permanent) visa subclass 888.

Requirement:

1. 65 points assessed on age; English ability; qualifications; business experience; net personal and business assets; business turnover; innovation and special endorsement.
2. Provide proof of business success eg. annual statement
3. Must have total net business and personal assets of minimum of AUD 1.25m for invitation to apply for visa on or after 1 july 2021 AUD 800000 if invited to apply for visa before 1 july 2021

You cannot marry or enter a de facto relationship before entry

Eligibility

1. Nomination. An Australian State or Territory must nominate you before you are invited to apply for visa and must not withdraw nomination after you apply
2. You must comply with an ownership stake of a designated amount in 1 or 2 businesses for 2 out of 4 fiscal years
3. You must have a successful business career and own and manage a business in Australia
4. You must not engage in unacceptable business or investment activity within Australia
5. Possess functional English
6. Comply with health requirement
7. Comply with character requirement
8. Sign up to Australian values
9. Possess no debt with the Australian government
10. Have had no previous visa cancelled or refused
